LAMY abc learn-to-write system

This learn-to-write system consists of the LAMY abc learn-to-write pencil and the LAMY abc learn-to-write fountain pen. Their large grip ends just above the nib or the tip of the lead and guarantees young users’ fingers secure positioning in exactly the right place. The learn-to-write pencil has a soft, breakproof lead that produces a wider-than-usual line and therefore encourages beginner writers not to press so hard.

The barrel is made of wood, a material many children are familiar with from pre-school toys or their first recorder. Combined with a colour choice of cheerful bright red or vibrant blue, the LAMY abc makes a really eye-catching addition to any pencil case. And not only that, the cube at the end of the barrel stops the writing instrument from rolling away. To avoid mix-ups, a name sticker is provided which can be adhered to the cube or the cap to display the name of the proud owner.

LAMY nexx fountain pen

After successfully mastering the first steps, the ideal fountain pen for more advanced young writers is the LAMY nexx. Although its grip is overall somewhat larger than that of the LAMY abc beginner’s fountain pen, it still extends close to the nib and has the same soft grip recesses.

The stainless steel nib – available in four nib widths – glides effortlessly over the paper, enabling the user to write for longer periods without fatigue. This is also aided by the innovative triangular shape of the sturdy aluminium barrel, which helps the LAMY nexx sit perfectly in the hand.
