Warranty

Only Lamy products that have passed through complete quality standards and shipping control criteria adopted by C. Josef Lamy GmbH, Germany – a company by Mitsubishi Pencil Company, Limited, are delivered to customers through the LAMY Online Shop Japan and stores in Japan.

In the unlikely event of a malfunction caused by a defect in production, the product is warranted for a period of two years from the date of purchase by means of repair or replacement. In the case of discontinued products, we may offer an alternative product replacement.

The warranty card provided with the product at the time of purchase is required for the warranty, so please keep it in a safe place. Please note that only the warranty card with the dealer's seal and the date of sale is covered by the warranty.

However, the warranty does not cover the following cases: repair at a charge or, in some cases, repair at a charge may not be accepted. Please note that the following cases are not covered by the warranty.

The product has been damaged due to careless or accidental handling or disassembly not in accordance with the instructions for use (the cause of the damage will be determined by us).

The product has been used for more than two years after purchase.

(The same applies if the product has not been used for more than two years after purchase.)

The product has not been handled by the company. The product is not accompanied by a warranty card.

The warranty does not cover consumables (service refills, etc.). If you have any questions, please contact the dealer from whom you purchased the product.
