The LAMY scala combines purist formality and emotionally charged details. By deliberately foregoing material excess, it exudes a noble restraint that conceals highly precise technical detail solutions: the complex mechanics of the writing instruments are assembled entirely by hand at the LAMY craftsman's workshop in Heidelberg. The solid clip and all-metal body lend the series a robust elegance, while the polished metal grip offers a pleasant writing feel.
Purist fountain pen with 14-carat gold nib, partially platinum-plated. Shiny red body finished with a piano lacquer coating. Cap with spring-loaded clip made of stainless steel. Includes LAMY T 10 ink cartridge in blue and LAMY Z 27 converter (only applies to the following LAMY scala colors: pianoblack, pianored). Available in various nib widths. Recommended accessories: LAMY T 51, LAMY T 52 and LAMY T 53 crystal ink.
